Our Mission
Our mission is to assist researchers with the development, implementation, management, and completion of clinical research studies (i.e., clinical trials, investigator-initiated research, etc.) conducted through MSU and its affiliations, to expedite the research submission process, and to facilitate research compliance.
The office is supportive in nature, facilitating research through:
- Providing clinical research support to investigators
Current assistance available in a limited capacity before Fall of 2007:
- Mentorship of new study investigators
- Assessment of study feasibility
- Regulatory documentation assistance/direction
- Study budget development
- Contract pre-review assistance
- Assessment of funding mechanisms
- Direction to other sources of university assistance
- Serving as the contact point for potential sponsors; linking research opportunities with qualified investigators
- Ensuring research is conducted in compliance with up-to-date required regulatory and financial guidelines
